Left at the whims of the uncouth

An encounter of the wife with one of the usual suspects as usual on the bus. On the rare occasions she had to take the bus. Black woman. Vaping in the bus. Talking on the loud speaker. When she told her to stop doing it, shouted at the wife, obviously no one around would have said anything. Wife showed her the middle finger and told her to behave herself. But no she kept on shouting at the wife, telling her she will smash her etc etc.

The bus driver told her to stop vaping. She argued its not a written rule, only says don’t smoke. Wife told her, well its common sense you shouldn’t be smoking or vaping in a public place. She kept on shouting. She was told by the bus driver that she will be thrown out of the bus if she didn’t stop shouting. Only then she shut up and then proceeded to call someone on the speakerphone, telling them how this white woman came up in her personal space and told her not to vape, she doesn’t know what she is going through her life, it is nothing to do with her. I mean, her actions in an enclosed public place impacts all the public in that space and not just her. But they really don’t have any consideration for people around her. Kept saying she will go to the police station and report wife. Laughable. No self awareness.

I really wonder, many of these sort of people are just not civilised enough to live in a society. And they definitely do not get taught this at home. Anything happens, where there is temporary lawlessness, some troubles, normal people especially European of all stripes would look around to see if anyone needs help, but the first thought these people would have is to steal, and do all sorts of criminal stuff.

Am I stereotyping? Well if the shoe fits. This has now been observed time and again. We need stricter laws because of people who are non-Western, and refuse to integrate into the Western ethos while being here. There has to be an understanding that living amongst these people, and letting them live here, is a choice and not a requirement or necessity.

Does it happen within some native population as well? Of course it does. But they are told off, or shown clearly by everyone that it is not acceptable. When the ethnic blacks and browns act like they don’t belong in a civilised society, no one says anything. Because everyone is too scared to be called a racist. The fear of this unfounded stigma has caused people to be tolerant of the intolerant. No one stood up for my wife on the bus, to tell this black woman to behave herself, because my wife is white European, and blackness as a privilege of its own now like no other.

Yes, it is not a purely racial thing. You cannot stereotype a whole group by the acts and behaviours of individuals but when a majority of the individuals within a group act negatively they become a well patterned indicator of what to expect from the grouping. And if the negative outweighs the positive, and there is no internal fixes from the group, then a society needs to take appropriate measures to exclude those who would not abide by their norms.

For over 15 years I have been in England, and I have consistently been amazed by the unBritish adverse behaviour and attitude of the blacks and south asians in this country, while then having the audacity to claim British or English identity because they were born here. Culturally, they have nothing, and have only contributed negatively. Might have been different when the numbers were lower and a more abled and educated class was here of theirs, but that is not the case anymore. Everywhere where they are in majority, every single town or city, without a fail, is a cultural and social burden on the rest of Britain. They have not shown that they can live in civilised society and maintain its norms without being pollicised and disciplined, and once that hand is relaxed they have no inner need to want to maintain a civilised society. The only reason why places like Dubai and Saudi works is because they are disciplined aggressively. I have seen this first hand in Kuwait, and then in Pakistan. Kuwait worked because you would get disciplined and deported mostly. Pakistan didn’t work because there was just a majority of absolutely feral class which has no right sense of civilised humanity.

And for anyone who says being civilised is a Western colonial construct, please take yourself out of here, and go live in the de-colonised jungle where you can happily sling your shit at each other, and vape in the depths of hell till your lungs blow out. The tolerance of such people have led for the tolerance of ill behaviours from certain sections of the native population as well. Tolerance of lawlessness and uncivil behaviour breeds and promotes in all the bad actors in the society. The standards are lowered for some, the standards end up getting lowered for everyone.

Rant over. I am just angry. I will be making sure my wife never has to use public transport, at least not on her own. But that isn’t right as well. Lots of people use it. It is supposed to be convenient mode of travel for all. Many of our vulnerable old people use the bus. Are these the dregs we are leaving them at the mercy of? Lots of young people use it, is this the example that should be set for them? This really isn’t how a society should be organised, left at the whims of the uncouth.
