My Election Prediction - Wishful Thinking
My predictions for the elections. Probably wrong, but hey ho, let's go at it anyway.
Neither Tories or Labour will have a full majority. They will need to form a coalition. Tories will not do as bad as people think they will. They might actually gain a bit back. Labour does not have any form of majority support - the polls don't show the real story. People will come out to vote, now that many have seen the error in not voting in local elections. Reform will not get more than 10 seats, and only if they are lucky. They might get 5, with Lee and Ben, winning theirs. Unless the leadership changes, which now it won't. They waited too long for it, and Farage is too busy being Trump's buddy. However, if he does decide to come back and lead Reform, it will change matters a little bit. Not that Reform will wipe out Tories, but they will take a huge chunk, and they both will be forced to form a coalition.
The left will have various fractions, and this is why they won't have a majority. I expect SDP to actually get a few cheeky seats. Or at least one. But the fractions will be caused by the Workers Party, Independent Muslim candidates, Green and Lib Dems.
Other independents might make more of a dent in these elections than ever before. Their numbers might double than currently. I expect more independents to win seats than smaller parties. We will not have a majority party in parliament, it will be a hung parliament, and it will take months to form a coalition. And the next 4/5 years are going to be very messy where nothing really will change.
This is actually the best scenario right now. This is the best thing that can happen. It gives the smaller parties who have a better promise for Britain, 4/5 years to build on, and improve their chances in the elections after this one. A Labour majority would be disastrous, as would be a Tory majority.
Let's see how wrong I am when it happens.
