Reject the Politics of Resentment & Envy
It is time to embrace the truth and work towards building a better future
There are many instances to see how the ideology of the far left is rooted in resentment and envy:
Take the example of the phrase, "Tax the Rich", the fact that this isn't phrased as "Help the Poor", shows you that the ideology is geared towards envy and resentment and not towards actually helping others or doing any good. That part is secondary and almost unimportant to their original setting. The same reason why even when someone like Elon Musk does a lot to help others, they will still want to wish him the worst.
Resentment and envy drive people towards destruction over building constructive outcomes. They don't want to compromise, build bridges, do some trade-offs in order to help others in the long run. No. They want to burn it all down, led by their immature emotions, scorned to their core.
No matter how much you make their lives better, it will never be good enough. They will always find a way.
This can be repeated for the extreme right as well. They are also filled with resentment and envy. And the same you can see with the Islamists as well. They will not rest till they burn the world down.
For me, it also shows a way to avoid your personal and social responsibilities. The problem is never you, the problem is always the other. Blaming someone else for your mistakes. 'My wife left me because she is a bitch', 'I got fired because my boss hates me', 'my neighbourhood is unclean and unsafe because the council doesn't look after it', 'We are in this mess because there is a secret cabal controlling the world' and on and on and on.
Now in some instances those things could be totally or partially true. But you need to reflect upon and investigate how you have contributed to your personal failures and also how your indifference and disengagement has resulted in the downfall of your society. Point the finger at yourself first and see if you are doing all you can to make your situation and the situation of those around you better.
Were you a good husband or father - and did you pay enough attention to your relationship? What did you think your gender studies degree would get you? Do you think having unprotected sex with strangers and then raising kids on your own was a good life choice? Do you think crying about political problems while not understanding politics and in many cases not even voting will result in any positive outcomes? Do you think making sure your neighbourhood is clean yourself rather than waiting for council to do something is not better? The list goes on and on. From political left to right. To even religious matters. Do you think leaving your churches empty wouldn’t result in a cultural vacuum? Do you think terrorising others and constantly spewing hatred would not result in people disliking Islam? The list is literally endless. But one thing remains constant - the need to self reflect and to see if you have done what you can to better your situation and of those around you.
Reject the politics of resentment and envy - and let’s get together to work on a better future where we have more winners and less losers.
