I have concerns over this proposed Gaza plan
Trump’s 20-point plan to end Israel’s genocide in Gaza
Getting Tony Blair involved in the future running of Gaza and calling him a very good man. Okay. I have concerns over this, huge concerns.
I have a counter plan, let Israel take over all the lands of Gaza strip, West Bank, and retake Sinai. That to me would be a better option than this board of peace where Tony Blair is a significant figure.
It seems to be that globalisation has find another route to re-establish itself.
Trump’s 20-point plan to end Israel’s genocide in Gaza - with my concerns:
Gaza will be a deradicalised terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbours.
To deradicalize Gaza you will need to deradicalize the religion of Islam which is impossible. Or you will have to eliminate a lot of Islamists. Or both. This is also only going to be temporary, if you are lucky then a few decades, but the Muslims will eventually return to their default factory setting. Apart from that, there is generations of radicalisation that you will need to reverse. This to me seems like an Afghanistan plan waiting to fail.
Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have suffered more than enough.
Make it into a Dubai and hope prosperity deradicalizes them. Good idea. But you will basically have to keep it successful regardless of their bad decisions because the minute it is not prosperous you will have troubles.
If both sides agree to this proposal, the war will immediately end. Israeli forces will withdraw to the agreed upon line to prepare for a hostage release. During this time, all military operations, including aerial and artillery bombardment, will be suspended, and battle lines will remain frozen until conditions are met for the complete staged withdrawal.
To me this is a mistake, Israeli forces should remain there, till a board of peace is established. You are basically giving the terrorists a breathing space.
Within 72 hours of Israel publicly accepting this agreement, all hostages, alive and deceased, will be returned.
I know this is very important for the families, and this is a good outcome. But I also think the Israeli families have been very short sighted with particular problem. The possibility of a future harm on many other Israeli families outweighs to me the current hostages. But there is no way Netanyahu can ignore the demands of the families and compromise on this basis. This will come back to haunt them.
Once all hostages are released, Israel will release 250 life sentence prisoners plus 1,700 Gazans who were detained after October 7th 2023, including all women and children detained in that context. For every Israeli hostage whose remains are released, Israel will release the remains of 15 deceased Gazans.
This enhances my concerns in the previous point. Those 250 life sentence prisoners along with many of the 1700 Gazans are what will come back to haunt them.
Once all hostages are returned, Hamas members who commit to peaceful co-existence and to decommission their weapons will be given amnesty. Members of Hamas who wish to leave Gaza will be provided safe passage to receiving countries.
Amnesty to ideologically driven terrorists. They will use taqqiyah and cooperate if they have any sense. They might even revert to their Makkah mentality till they can activate their Medinah mode once again.
Upon acceptance of this agreement, full aid will be immediately sent into the Gaza Strip. At a minimum, aid quantities will be consistent with what was included in the January 19, 2025, agreement regarding humanitarian aid, including rehabilitation of infrastructure (water, electricity, sewage), rehabilitation of hospitals and bakeries, and entry of necessary equipment to remove rubble and open roads.
Aid, aid and aid. This aid should be paid for by all the rich Middle Eastern countries. I am tired of our tax money going towards the upkeep of these professional beggars and trouble makers.
Entry of distribution and aid in the Gaza Strip will proceed without interference from the two parties through the United Nations and its agencies, and the Red Crescent, in addition to other international institutions not associated in any manner with either party. Opening the Rafah crossing in both directions will be subject to the same mechanism implemented under the January 19, 2025, agreement.
The moment Rafah crossing is opened, and the prisoners are released while Israeli military is pulled out, the Muslim Brotherhood operating within Egypt will do all it can to get the Islamists to safety in Egypt, regroup for a later time.
Gaza will be governed under the temporary transitional governance of a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee, responsible for delivering the day-to-day running of public services and municipalities for the people in Gaza. This committee will be made up of qualified Palestinians and international experts, with oversight and supervision by a new international transitional body, the “Board of Peace,” which will be headed and chaired by President Donald J Trump, with other members and heads of State to be announced, including Former Prime Minister Tony Blair. This body will set the framework and handle the funding for the redevelopment of Gaza until such time as the Palestinian Authority has completed its reform program, as outlined in various proposals, including President Trump’s peace plan in 2020 and the Saudi-French proposal, and can securely and effectively take back control of Gaza. This body will call on best international standards to create modern and efficient governance that serves the people of Gaza and is conducive to attracting investment.
This technocracy is another way of reasserting the globalisation. It is very disappointing to see it being proposed by Trump. In any case, this again is like Iraq and Afghanistan, of imposing your way of life unto a people who are inherently against it.
A Trump economic development plan to rebuild and energize Gaza will be created by convening a panel of experts who have helped birth some of the thriving modern miracle cities in the Middle East. Many thoughtful investment proposals and exciting development ideas have been crafted by well-meaning international groups, and will be considered to synthesize the security and governance frameworks to attract and facilitate these investments that will create jobs, opportunity, and hope for future Gaza.
No doubt it is just a way for Trump to personally make money us well through his business, which is all good I guess, but why is it our responsibility. Why not just let Israel take the whole region over and let them build it.
A special economic zone will be established with preferred tariff and access rates to be negotiated with participating countries.
Convert it into a free trade or freeport region. Nothing wrong with it. That would be the best use of Gaza under the circumstances. If you think people who chant “from the river to the sea” will take this proposal as a means to coexist. They will not. The problem is not economical but cultural and ideological.
No one will be forced to leave Gaza, and those who wish to leave will be free to do so and free to return. We will encourage people to stay and offer them the opportunity to build a better Gaza.
Many will leave if they can get benefits and free money. They are professional freeloaders, entitled beggars, and forever troublemakers. Stop thinking of them as you think of yourself. They do not have the same drives and ambitions.
Hamas and other factions agree to not have any role in the governance of Gaza, directly, indirectly, or in any form. All military, terror, and offensive infrastructure, including tunnels and weapon production facilities, will be destroyed and not rebuilt. There will be a process of demilitarization of Gaza under the supervision of independent monitors, which will include placing weapons permanently beyond use through an agreed process of decommissioning, and supported by an internationally funded buy back and reintegration program all verified by the independent monitors. New Gaza will be fully committed to building a prosperous economy and to peaceful coexistence with their neighbours.
They will disband and find themselves involved in governance and influence in other forms. You can’t even distinguish between most citizens and Hamas operatives. They will bide their time.
A guarantee will be provided by regional partners to ensure that Hamas, and the factions, comply with their obligations and that New Gaza poses no threat to its neighbours or its people.
Yes, because ideological terrorists are reasonable people and negotiators.
The United States will work with Arab and international partners to develop a temporary International Stabilization Force (ISF) to immediately deploy in Gaza. The ISF will train and provide support to vetted Palestinian police forces in Gaza, and will consult with Jordan and Egypt who have extensive experience in this field. This force will be the long-term internal security solution. The ISF will work with Israel and Egypt to help secure border areas, along with newly trained Palestinian police forces. It is critical to prevent munitions from entering Gaza and to facilitate the rapid and secure flow of goods to rebuild and revitalize Gaza. A deconfliction mechanism will be agreed upon by the parties.
How will you ensure that the same thing doesn’t happen to ISF what happened to UNRWA?
Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza. As the ISF establishes control and stability, the [Israeli military] will withdraw based on standards, milestones, and timeframes linked to demilitarization that will be agreed upon between the [Israeli military], ISF, the guarantors, and the Unites States, with the objective of a secure Gaza that no longer poses a threat to Israel, Egypt, or its citizens. Practically, the [Israeli military] will progressively hand over the Gaza territory it occupies to the ISF according to an agreement they will make with the transitional authority until they are withdrawn completely from Gaza, save for a security perimeter presence that will remain until Gaza is properly secure from any resurgent terror threat.
The only way, in my opinion, that region will see everlasting peace, if the lands of Israel are returned to the children of Israel. The followers of dogmatic Islam will see this as a victory, a defeat of the Jews, and will prepare for a future when they can kick them out “from the river to the sea”.
In the event Hamas delays or rejects this proposal, the above, including the scaled-up aid operation, will proceed in the terror-free areas handed over from the [Israeli military] to the ISF.
Hamas will reject, or accept temporarily till they can reverse
An interfaith dialogue process will be established based on the values of tolerance and peaceful co-existence to try and change mindsets and narratives of Palestinians and Israelis by emphasizing the benefits that can be derived from peace.
Again with this interfaith nonsense. Islam is in direct opposition to Christianity and Judaism. This false liberal idea that a. Islam is just another Abrahamic faith b. it can co-exist with the rest, has been the bane and the undoing of the Western civilisation. I am disappointed to see it being continued here.
While Gaza re-development advances and when the PA reform program is faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood, which we recognize as the aspiration of the Palestinian people.
And once its done, they will have more resources and power, to start being litigious in international courts against Israel for past perceived crimes and then using terror tactics.
The United States will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous co-existence.
This is futile.
I really don’t care what the world says. This will end badly either way. Either the West develops a set of big balls to deal with Islam, or we all suffer as a consequence of that weakness.
But it seems to me no one wants to do it. The left doesn’t, the centre right doesn’t, the global elites don’t, and Trump definitely doesn’t.
We are in the dying days of the Roman Empire, where an emperor makes a last ditch effort to save the empire, only to weaken it for the future and gift it to a more determined ideology which doesn’t care for the gift it will inherit.
It is fear I have been nursing for a while, born out of weakness in the West, from their lack of confirmed beliefs and faith, that will give rise to Islam in the West. I will keep fighting it but gradually it seems it will become futile. This is a problem of deep concern for me. Apart from the winged Hussars, not many understand what is to come.
