Direction of Political Travel & Advance UK Culture and Immigration Conference
In this episode I discuss the current state of British politics, focusing on the failures of the left, the rise of Reform and Advanced UK, and the implications of immigration policies. I emphasize the need for a strong opposition and the potential for civil unrest as the political landscape evolves. I also express frustration with the current system and the lack of effective solutions, while also highlighting the importance of community and hope in navigating these turbulent times.
Direction of Political Travel:
A lot of people keep saying Greens leader is an idiot and they will never win any significant votes. Don't forget Lib Dems won 72 seats in 2024 and a lot said the same of them. These two parties are most likely to gain the most out of the infighting on the political right and disarray of Labour in the next elections.
Since the World Wars it seems like Britain has been on a socialist course which has been accelerating with time. And it also seems like many people would be content with it. All any politically party on the left has to do, is stop the flow of illegal immigration and start the process of deportations of illegals and foreign criminals, reform the welfare benefits so it only is accessible to the citizens, and reform certain taxations - getting rid of stamp duty, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, cut business rates. Admittedly, the taxation part would be like putting a pet down for the lefties, hard put necessary. But the left are so ideologically captured that they won’t even be able to that bare minimum for their own victory.
The right on the other hand are constantly sacrificing good for perfection. And also many want to be the saviour themselves rather than concentrating on getting the saving done. They are too fragmented and many within are too egoistic to make compromises with each other to join up.
All people want is convenience and comfort, and many would be happy to sell their heritage, traditions, and culture for it. You might think I am being harsh, but that wasn’t the case, we wouldn’t have growing popularity of metropolitan culture and the global anywhereism. As long as the people are fed with comfort, and food, and given the illusion of plenty, they will go along with it. It is only when you take away their video game consoles and turn off their internet, they get angry and mad. You give them that and they will go back to not caring about almost anything. You might think I am being very harsh, but if that wasn’t the case, then at least 50% of the 34 million working people in Britain to have an active political party membership, with a majority supporting in millions one party to bring the necessary changes. But no. There is less than 1 million people who are members of any political party out of an overall population of 69.3 million people and 34.4 million working adults. Reform has 230k or so members, and Labour having around the same members. Only 1 million people joining one particular political party and giving them £20 a year, making it a £20 million annual party budget, could change the politics of this country. For good or for bad. A party consistently getting £20 million a year from the public, and without having to dilute themselves by donations from other entities. And you cannot tell me that there aren’t a million people in Britain who can’t afford a membership, when around 17 to 18 million households are subscribed to Netflix in the UK. You can afford that but you can’t afford to invest in an enterprise to save your civilisation from collapsing.
People don’t care. They don’t understand the dangers of fire till their own feet are burnt by the flames. And by that time it is usually very late, and your house is almost burned down, and likely you along with it.
A while ago, I also proposed something like this below:
Advance UK Culture and Immigration Policy Launch and Conference:
It was said repeatedly by Ben in the latest Advance UK conference that he was only revealing some of the distilled salient points to a much broader and detailed policy, which is still a draft, and they will keep tweaking it.
The slides that were presented on the day are now up on their website and I have attached them below as well. It is important to note that these slides are not the full extent of the policy, they are just the salient points of the policy, as distilled by Ben Habib himself to present to the public at this moment. So, when you see just 4 points on a particular slide under a particular heading, that isn’t the full extent of what is entailed in there. There is more. There is a lot more as far as I am told about it.
This is besides the point whether I agree with releasing just the executive summary so to speak of a detailed policy rather than releasing the full policy. I am merely trying to be accurate to what is the case. However, it would have been good for me not to have to explain it and it had been done in the description because otherwise it is not clear, and it may well be that I am wrong.
As I have stated in the YouTube video earlier, I personally would have preferred the full detailed policy to be published whether it is draft policy or not, whether it is a work in progress or not. For me, at this juncture of British politics, it gives more confidence to the public. But I can also understand why Advance UK or any other party in their position might be reluctant to do so. Advance UK although having gained 40k+ members in a short space of time still are not been paid attention by the mainstream media and do not have that skyrocketed infamy with the public. So, it would be very easy for any bigger political party already in that sphere to pick out the best or most popular attributes of their policies and copy/paste it as their own. This same thing was done to SDP by Reform, and although a few would acknowledge it, not many know or care about it. And as a bigger insult to injury, to the likes of SDP, Reform do not even intend on executing those policies to their fullest intent or any real intent. Now, if you turn the tables, and Reform were to release a detailed policy, there is no way any other policy would be able to steal it and get away with it without giving their own twist to it or giving a nod to Reform. I think Advance UK do not have that level of popularity with the public yet, and certainly do not have that level of backing with the mainstream or new media to support them if it were to happen.
Again, it doesn’t mean I agree or disagree with the tactic or apprehension, I am just speculating why I think they might have chosen to go down a particular route at this moment. Who is to know, maybe the full detailed policy pack will be published as well, sooner than we think. However, this is what it is for now. I think it at least shows the intent of travel for the party, and I am happy with the intent. And it also shows that their platform has a good base to build upon. Maybe more and more better minds can come together and continually improve upon it and give more meat to the bones of this party.
Conclusion:
Now, there is another element to deal with over here. That sort of goes against my optimism of above. Something I touched upon towards the end of my YouTube video. I do think deep down that the problems here are too severe to be resolved by just politics. Honestly I don't want to think about it. But I know that is a possible reality. Violence or submission, both will change the country in ways beyond measure. I hope I am wrong. Then again, maybe it's needed for a people to either find themselves or lose themselves. Defining moments in an existential crisis can mean everything.
But I just don’t see people coming together. I see more division each day. Everyone wants to be the saviour and cares little about doing the saving. Also on the other hand many do want to burn it all down so it can be raised again in the image of their ideal. Ideal for one hell for many. But whatever it is, people need to hash it out, out in the open, and be mindful and prepared for all and any consequences of their wishes and their actions.
