I was there too.

I got not closer than Westminster bridge after 3 hours of shuffling. There I gave up and returned to Waterloo and got an earlier train home.

And there were many many patriots in the station who also had given up.

Much expense and little reward beyond being there and showing support.

The numbers were far higher than any of the previous 4 rallies. Perhaps ten times the one in February.

All I can say is that the crowd behaved impeccably. No masks. Good humour.

The contrast with Notting Hill ("Stabfest",) could not have been more marked.

8 arrests UTK. 523 arrest at Stabfest.

This is a clear, if somewhat unpalatable indication of differences in "culture" Quite frankly I would say if this is how British society has been enriched by diversity you can keep it.

Skin pigment does not excuse disgusting behaviour !

The real success of the day is the grand show of unity.

I was proud of my people that day but I think a lot of folk, amd many I spoke with were there on their first rally , were very disappointed at not seeing a damn thing but crowds in a street.

I doubt I will attend another and I would think thousands of others will be thinking the same.

Didn't get to see you Momus. I guess you were a mile ahead.

I managed to get close enough, was supposed to pick up my media pass and be backstage, but as I was late I just couldn't get through. I did meet up some friends, at around 5 after almost 5 hours, I went off to a nearby cafe, and went to see another friend Jeff Taylor. I don't think anyone expected this huge numbers, it was at least 5 to 10 times more than before. A very heart warming day I would, to see the Brits find their strength and their joy.
